Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Khan Afridi’s sister passed away on Tuesday. He shared a post on Monday, telling fans that his sister’s health was getting worse. He didn’t specify the illness she was suffering from. He mentioned that he was going back home to be with her and requested prayers for her recovery. He wrote, “I am traveling back to see you soon, my love. My sister is fighting for her life right now, and I request you to pray for her health. It will mean a lot. May Allah give her a speedy recovery and a long, healthy life.”
Fans, followers, and friends sent heartfelt prayers for Shahid Afridi’s sister. Even fans from India prayed for her recovery. Sadly it was reported that she was passed away on Tuesday morning. Her funeral prayer will be held at Zikriya Mosque in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi Phase-8.
Shahid Afridi is a famous former Pakistani cricketer known for his powerful batting. He hails from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and started playing for the Pakistan cricket team in 1996.
