ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday revealed the reasons behind the resignations of lawmakers from the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies.
Rana Sanaullah said that these resignations were just a pretext to avoid accountability in various corruption cases. He also accused Shaukat Khanum Hospital of submitting a fake report against Imran Niazi, causing him to miss a court appearance.
In a series of tweets, Rana Sanaullah criticized Imran Khan, saying that he first put on a plaster, then climbed on top of a container and held a rally, and after that, everything was fine. He added that for court appearances and police interrogations, one needs to be examined at a government hospital. He claimed that Shaukat Khanum Hospital had submitted a fake report against Imran Niazi so that he could avoid court appearances.
Rana Sanaullah went on to say that PTI Chairman Imran Khan is taking a 10-day break to avoid appearing in court, and the election rate was also set to avoid being held accountable for corruption cases. He further claimed that the resignations of lawmakers from the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies were also part of the same scheme to avoid accountability.
Rana Sanaullah also accused Shaukat Khanum Hospital of submitting a fake report against Imran Niazi to avoid his court appearance. He claimed that when the court ordered Shaukat Khanum Hospital to submit a medical report, the hospital submitted a fake report and when the court ordered an investigation into the matter, Imran Niazi suddenly became ill.
