LAHORE: A wedding reception card circulating widely on social media has revealed that the Junaid Safdar valima ceremony will be held on January 18, sparking renewed public interest in the personal life of the son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
According to the viral card, the valima ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday at 1:00 pm at Sharif Farms, Jati Umrah. The invitation states that former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has requested the honour of guests’ presence at the wedding reception of his and late Kulsoom Nawaz’s grandson Muhammad Junaid Safdar and Shanzeh Ali Rohale, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ali Rohale.

Earlier, former Member of the National Assembly Sheikh Rohale Asghar had confirmed that his granddaughter Shanzeh Rohale and Junaid Safdar were set to tie the knot in January, though specific details had not been disclosed at the time.
This marriage marks Junaid Safdar’s second wedding. He was previously married to Ayesha Saif Khan in 2021. The couple separated in 2023, and Junaid Safdar later publicly confirmed the divorce the same year.
