Ducky Bhai breaks silence on post-release YouTube earnings
Pakistani YouTuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has addressed widespread speculation regarding his online income after his release, stating that he has earned no revenue from YouTube and does not currently have owner access to his official channel.
In his latest vlog, Ducky Bhai clarified that the YouTube channel visible to his subscribers is being operated through an editor’s account rather than his own. He explained that prior to his arrest, he had granted editor access to his team to ensure content uploads could continue during his absence.
“This is true that I do not have my YouTube channel,” he said, adding that editor-level access only allows basic functions such as uploading videos and editing content, while key administrative controls remain inaccessible.
Elaborating further, Ducky Bhai read out YouTube’s access policies, noting that editors cannot add or remove users, enter agreements, delete videos or channels, or view revenue and earnings data. As a result, he said he has no visibility into monetisation or channel analytics.
Addressing rumours circulating on social media that he earned a large sum from his first vlog after release, Ducky Bhai dismissed the claims as false. “All reports about money earned from my first vlog are not authentic. I have made zero revenue from my YouTube channel after my release,” he stated.
He also revealed that his AdSense account had been disabled, explaining that while he was in custody, his passwords and authentication details were changed, which led to the account being blocked.
Earlier, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had sought time to submit a report related to Ducky Bhai’s plea, further fuelling speculation around his digital accounts and online activity.
The YouTuber said he is working to resolve the issue through proper channels but reiterated that, as of now, he has no financial access or earnings from YouTube since his release.
