Imran Khan No Verifiable Information: Kasim Khan
Kasim Khan, the son of incarcerated former prime minister Imran Khan, has raised serious concerns over what he describes as a complete blackout of credible information regarding his father’s condition, saying the family fears that something critical may be deliberately concealed from them. Speaking to Reuters through written responses, Kasim said the family has been left in distress for months as authorities continue to deny any independently verified updates about the PTI founder’s health and safety.
He stated that “not knowing whether your father is safe, injured or even alive is a form of psychological torture”, adding that the situation has become increasingly alarming as no authenticated communication has been allowed for an extended period. The remarks have reignited debate over the treatment of political detainees and the transparency of the prison system, prompting renewed attention within Pakistan News and international monitoring bodies linked via World News.
Kasim further said that “today we have no verifiable information at all about his condition. Our greatest fear is that something irreversible is being hidden from us.” The family maintains that repeated requests for access to Imran Khan’s long-time personal physician have been rejected, with the doctor reportedly barred from conducting a medical examination for more than a year.
Earlier reports carried in Politics sections highlighted allegations from government leaders and PTI representatives, with both sides trading accusations regarding the circulation of unverified claims about the former premier’s wellbeing. The situation gained traction after senior lawyer Attaullah Tarar alleged that certain PTI members had pushed fabricated reports regarding Imran Khan’s death through Afghan and Indian media outlets, a claim that the party categorically denied.

According to a prison official quoted in the same Reuters report, Imran Khan is said to be in “good health,” and authorities claimed they had no knowledge of any proposal to move him to a higher-security facility. However, the family insists that without neutral medical verification, such statements cannot be taken at face value.
The matter continues to draw widespread attention across Latest Updates, as human rights groups, international observers, and political analysts question the lack of transparency surrounding the former prime minister’s incarceration. For now, Kasim Khan says the family remains “deeply anxious” as they wait for credible confirmation about Imran Khan’s wellbeing.
