Pakistan Announce Tour to Bangladesh with 3-Match Series

The Pakistan Announce Tour to Bangladesh, announcing a three-match T20I series set for July at Dhaka’s iconic Sher‑e‑Bangla National Cricket Stadium. According to the PCB, Pakistan will arrive in Dhaka on July 16 before kicking off the series on Sunday, July 20, at 6 pm local time. The remaining matches are scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 24—all starting under lights at the same venue .

This tour comes hot on the heels of Pakistan’s commanding home victory against Bangladesh earlier this year, where they secured a clean sweep in the T20I series at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. With renewed confidence, Pakistan will be eager to maintain their dominance, while Bangladesh aims to bounce back on home soil.

The series isn’t part of the ICC’s Future Tours Programme—arranged instead through mutual agreement between PCB and BCB and timed to give both teams high-intensity match practice ahead of major tournaments like the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup . Starting the tour in mid‑July ensures optimal preparation time and focuses on developing T20 readiness.

All eyes will be on Pakistan’s new white-ball head coach, Mike Hesson, and newly appointed T20I captain Salman Ali Agha as they guide a mix of seasoned stars and emerging talent. Bangladesh, led by Litton Das, will be equally motivated to perform in front of their passionate home crowd.

For cricket fans, the series promises a festival of action, skill, and competitiveness, with every match scheduled at 6 pm local time to capture peak viewership. It’s an exciting chapter in the regional rivalry—Pakistan looking to reinforce supremacy, while Bangladesh seeks to reclaim ground.

With full attendance expected at Sher-e-Bangla, the three-match bilateral series is poised to deliver adrenaline-fueled cricket and set the tone for South Asia’s white-ball calendar.
