Indian Army Canteen Worker Arrested for Leaking Information to Alleged Female Pakistani Spy.

In a recent development, Indian authorities have arrested a 31-year-old man, Vikram Singh, for allegedly leaking sensitive information to a suspected female Pakistani spy. Vikram Singh, who worked at an army canteen in Bikaner, Rajasthan, was apprehended in a coordinated operation involving Rajasthan Police and Military Intelligence.

The arrest followed surveillance operations that revealed Singh’s consistent communication with the alleged Pakistani female spy. According to Sanjay Aggarwal, the Additional Director General of Police Intelligence, Singh had fallen into a honeytrap, sharing strategically important information through social media platforms.

Singh provided details such as photographs, locations, and videos of restricted army areas, along with information about units and officers. The alleged recipient, Anita, is suspected to be a Pakistani agent. The arrestee is now facing charges under the Official Secrets Act of 1923.

This incident underscores the ongoing concerns regarding espionage and unauthorized sharing of sensitive military information. The authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter, adhering to legal procedures outlined in relevant legislation.
