Imran Khan’s journey transcended cricket, as he transitioned from being a cricket star to a prominent political figure, serving as the Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2018 to 2022.
However, Khan’s legacy has been marred by his recent legal troubles. He is currently incarcerated due to corruption charges, stemming from the Toshakhana case. In a court ruling, he was sentenced to three years in prison. Additionally, the election commission subsequently barred him from seeking political office for a period of five years.
The Pakistan Cricket Board’s decision to exclude Imran Khan from their video highlighting cricket’s history sparked immediate backlash from the Pakistani public.
