The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has made an important announcement regarding the registration deadline for Class-9 students. In a move to facilitate schools and students, the board has extended the registration period, allowing more time for schools to complete the registration process without any fines.
According to a spokesperson from BISE Lahore, schools now have the opportunity to register their Class-9 students until May 22, 2023, without incurring any fines. This extension comes as a relief for schools that may have faced challenges in meeting the initial deadline. It provides them with additional time to ensure the smooth registration of their students.
However, it is important to note that schools that miss the extended deadline still have a chance to register their students until June 06, 2023. However, a late fee of Rs. 600 will be applicable for registrations during this period. It is advisable for schools to take advantage of the extended deadline to avoid any additional fees.
The original registration deadline was initially set for May 16, and the deadline for registration with a late fee of Rs. 600 was May 30. The extension aims to accommodate schools and students who may have faced challenges or delays in the registration process.
To further streamline the registration process, BISE Lahore has introduced an online registration option. Students can now register online through the BISE Lahore website. This online registration method provides convenience and ease for students and eliminates the need for manual paperwork. However, students registering online will be required to pay an online registration fee of Rs. 1000.
In other news, BISE Lahore has also released the revised schedule for three papers of SSC-1 (Secondary School Certificate – Part 1) that were postponed due to recent nationwide protests and the resulting law and order situation. The affected papers will now be conducted on May 15, 17, and 18. The board will send the revised schedules to the affected students via SMS.
It is crucial for schools, students, and parents to stay updated with the latest announcements and changes made by BISE Lahore. Adhering to the registration deadlines and following the revised schedules for exams will ensure a smooth academic journey for Class-9 students.
The extension of the registration deadline by BISE Lahore reflects the board’s commitment to providing equal opportunities and support to all students. It allows schools and students to complete the necessary registration procedures without incurring any fines and ensures that no student is left behind due to unforeseen circumstances.
