QUETTA: At least four people were killed and many others sustained injuries during a blast in Qandhari Bazaar, Quetta on Monday.
According to the details, the blast was reported near a police van in the Qandhari Bazaar, killing at least four people and injuring six others. Rescue officials and police reached the site and shifted the injured ones to the hospitals for the treatment.
Several vehicles and motorbikes were also damaged due to the blast and panic spread in the locality.
The police team reached the scene and started the investigations. The local administration imposed an emergency in the Civil Hospital for the treatment of injured people.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the Quetta blast with prayers for the martyrs. He also offered condolences to the victim families.
PM Shehbaz also prayed for the speedy recovery of injured ones and directed the concerned authorities to ensure all possible medical aid for them. He also sought a detailed report from the authorities on the attack.
The Parliament also condemned the attack during the joint session called to pass the SC bill after the president Alvi returned the same to the PM unsigned.
