Lahore: The Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department arrested eight terrorists from different places including Lahore on Saturday.
The Counter Terrorism Department arrested the terrorists as they launched 21 combing operations in the province.
According to the reports, the CTD officials also seized explosive material, hand grenades and literature from the custody of the terrorists.
The officials said that the two terrorists arrested from Lahore belonging to banned organization, adding that four suspects were arrested from Gujranwala and one from Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur.
Besides it, six FIRs were lodged against the arrested terrorists, and investigation was started against them.
