Prince Andrew accused of sharing UK trade secrets with Jeffrey Epstein, leaked files claim

Fresh disclosures from newly released Jeffrey Epstein files have once again placed Britain’s Prince Andrew under intense scrutiny, with emails allegedly showing the former royal sharing confidential UK trade documents with the disgraced financier while serving in an official government role.

According to the documents, emails dating back to 2010 indicate that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the younger brother of King Charles III, forwarded sensitive trade-related reports concerning Vietnam, Singapore and other international markets to Epstein. At the time, Prince Andrew was undertaking overseas visits as part of his duties as the United Kingdom’s special trade envoy.

The reported disclosures have revived long-standing concerns over Prince Andrew’s controversial association with Epstein, a relationship that ultimately led to his withdrawal from royal duties, the stripping of his military titles and his removal from public life.

Now 65, Prince Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing. However, he has not responded to requests for comment following the release of the latest batch of documents.

Trade envoys are required to safeguard sensitive government information, but the emails — which form part of a growing collection of Epstein-related court filings in the United States — reportedly suggest that Prince Andrew directly forwarded official material obtained through government channels.

The Metropolitan Police has so far declined to comment on whether the alleged disclosure of confidential documents could prompt a formal investigation.

The revelations come amid a wider political storm in the United Kingdom linked to Epstein’s network of high-profile associates. In recent days, the controversy has also fuelled criticism of Prime Minister Keir Starmer over his decision to appoint Peter Mandelson, previously linked to Epstein, as the UK’s ambassador to the United States.

The latest claims are expected to further intensify debate in Britain over accountability, transparency and the lasting fallout from Epstein’s connections with global elites.
