Dr. Warda Murder: Main accused Rida paid killers Rs 10 mln
ABBOTTABAD: A major breakthrough has emerged in the murder case of Dr Warda, with police revealing that the main accused, Dr Rida, allegedly paid Rs 10 million to the killers to carry out the brutal crime. The investigation has uncovered that both vehicles used in the kidnapping and subsequent murder have been recovered, while further findings suggest a financial motive tied to gold and bank loans.
According to investigators, Dr Warda’s jewellery had been deposited in a bank and a loan of Rs 5 million was taken against it. Police have also sealed five shops belonging to the family of Dr Rida Jadon as part of the expanding investigation. The postmortem report confirmed that Dr Warda died due to suffocation, with a fractured neck bone indicating severe torture before death.
Officials said that the inquiry is progressing rapidly, and further arrests could be made as more evidence is examined. Police believe the murder stemmed from greed, with the accused conspiring to obtain gold valued at nearly Rs 30 million.
