Dr. Warda Murder: Main accused Rida paid killers Rs 10 mln

ABBOTTABAD: A major breakthrough has emerged in the murder case of Dr Warda, with police revealing that the main accused, Dr Rida, allegedly paid Rs 10 million to the killers to carry out the brutal crime. The investigation has uncovered that both vehicles used in the kidnapping and subsequent murder have been recovered, while further findings suggest a financial motive tied to gold and bank loans.

According to investigators, Dr Warda’s jewellery had been deposited in a bank and a loan of Rs 5 million was taken against it. Police have also sealed five shops belonging to the family of Dr Rida Jadon as part of the expanding investigation. The postmortem report confirmed that Dr Warda died due to suffocation, with a fractured neck bone indicating severe torture before death.

Officials said that the inquiry is progressing rapidly, and further arrests could be made as more evidence is examined. Police believe the murder stemmed from greed, with the accused conspiring to obtain gold valued at nearly Rs 30 million. The case continues to expose shocking details, pushing public outrage to new heights.

Abbottabad has witnessed a new wave of anger and protest since the revelation. Demonstrators marched through the city, demanding a transparent investigation and the strictest punishment for those behind the crime. Many carried placards calling for immediate prosecution of all accused and urging authorities to hold negligent officials accountable.

Dr Warda’s family, meanwhile, remains adamant that her death could have been prevented. Her brother-in-law accused police of negligence, claiming that despite repeated warnings about suspicious behaviour from the accused, no action was taken in time. The family insists that officers failed to recognise the seriousness of the threat, ultimately leading to the tragic loss of life.

Police say that every angle of the case is being scrutinised and further legal action will follow as the investigation moves forward. The murder has deeply shaken Abbottabad, with residents demanding justice for Dr Warda and accountability at every level of the system.
