On the other hand, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday declared the press release of the public relations department of the Pakistan Army as “inconsistent with the facts,” stating that the release is not based on the ground realities.
The PTI categorically said that it had nothing to do with the violent incidents took place on May 9. The PTI’s response came a day after the military’s media wing termed the violent protests and clashes ensued ‘a black chapter in the history’.
According to PTI, the press release is a regrettable collection of statements based on hatred and revenge against Pakistan’s most credible and largest political party.
