Fawad Chaudhry created a stir on Twitter when he posted that former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan had been abducted from court premises. According to Chaudhry, scores of lawyers and ordinary people were also subjected to torture during the incident.
Khan was reportedly taken away by unidentified individuals to an unknown location. Fawad Chaudhry added that the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court had ordered the Secretary of the Interior and Inspector General of Police to appear in court within 15 minutes.
The news of the alleged abduction of Khan quickly spread on social media, with many expressing concern and calling for action. However, the authenticity of Fawad Chaudhry’s claims could not be immediately verified, and there has been no official statement from the PTI or the government.
