ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former minister Abid Sher Ali asked the coalition government to file a case against former Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar under Article 6.
Abid Sher Ali alleged that Imran Khan did conspiracy against the country while Justice Khosa, Justice Saqib, and Justice Gulzar were part of it. He alleged that the said three judges disqualified Nawaz Sharif for taking salary from his own son.
“Saqib Nisar’s name is among the worst characters in history, he sold the country for money,” said the PML-N leader while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Saturday.
The former Federal Minister called them “bad characters” and asked the government to immediately take action against them by stopping their mention and perks and privileges.
“Stop their perks and privileges. Around Rs2.5m to Rs3m is spent on every single of these three from the national exchequer,” stated.
“If such dishonest and liar people while sitting in the courtrooms of the top court make decision against the money then curse on such people and curse on such decisions,” Abid accused the former Chief Justices of taking bribe to give judgments. He also named former CJP Nisar in his press talk.
He said, “I just ask the government to take immediate action against these people,”. The PML-N leader said that Nawaz Sharif and his family had been targeted and questioned that which characters had drowned Pakistan in personal interests.
“The wrongdoers had drowned Pakistan with their actions,” said Abid Sher Ali, alleging that General (retired) Faiz Hameed used to organize Imran Khan’s rallies. “It is justice that Imran Khan is granted bail every day, even today Imran Khan has been declared null and void by NAB,” said the PML-N leader.
The former minister asked the coalition government to file a case against former Chief Justice under Article 6, he and his son should be arrested. “Saqib Nisar should have been behind the bars,” he added.
