Three Young Siblings Found Murdered in Lahore’s Ichhra, Mother Confessed Killing

A tragic incident in Ichhra has left residents in shock after three young siblings were found murdered in an apartment on Thursday.

According to initial police findings, the victims, five-year-old Momina Batool, four-year-old Momin Raza, and one-and-a-half-year-old Amna Habiba were discovered with fatal throat injuries, allegedly inflicted with a sharp-edged weapon.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the children’s mother may be involved in the killings. Police sources said she has reportedly confessed during initial questioning, though further investigation is underway to verify all aspects of the case.

Authorities indicated that domestic tensions may have contributed to the incident. The woman was said to have ongoing conflicts with her husband and had reportedly argued with her mother-in-law the night before the tragedy.

Rescue officials from Rescue 1122 said they received a call about the incident in the Shah Jamal area. Emergency teams and police rushed to the scene, where the deaths were confirmed.

The bodies were shifted to a morgue for post-mortem examination after initial assessment.

Syed Zeeshan Raza stated that forensic teams have collected key evidence from the site, and CCTV footage from nearby buildings has been secured to aid the investigation.

Many have called for swift justice and a thorough investigation to ensure accountability in the deeply disturbing case. Authorities say the inquiry is ongoing, and further details will be shared as the investigation progresses.
