PTI Sets to Make Alliance with MWM, Gohar Ali Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan announced that PTI plans to ally with Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) after PTI-supported independent candidates won in 100 National Assembly (NA) seats in the 2024 election.

A candidate from Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen won in Kurram’s NA-37 constituency on Friday. Hamid Khan secured victory with 58,650 votes, according to the Election Commission’s Form-47. Sajid Hussain Turi of the Pakistan Peoples Party came in second with 54,384 votes.

Just two days before the nationwide elections on February 6, MWM leader Allama Raja Nasir met with Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.

PTI-backed independent candidates have become the largest group in the National Assembly following the general elections.
