PESHAWAR: A blast occurred in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the death of at least one person and injuring three others, as confirmed by local police on Wednesday.
According to the police, the blast was caused by a bomb that was planted in a motorcycle. Authorities are currently investigating the details of the explosion. Initial reports suggest that the blast occurred while the motorcycle was being repaired.
The incident took place near a hotel located on the Ring Road in Peshawar, the provincial capital.
Among the injured individuals, the owner of the motorcycle is included, while one of the injured is currently in critical condition, as stated by the police.
The bomb disposal unit reported that the explosion involved a 200-gram magnet improvised explosive device (IED).
The police highlighted that incidents involving family feuds often make use of IED devices.
