Indian-Backed Terrorists Kill Nine Passengers in Balochistan: Latest Update

QUETTA — July 11, 2025: In a brutal attack that has shocked the nation, Indian-backed terrorists killed nine innocent passengers traveling through Balochistan after forcibly removing them from buses, according to government officials .

How the Attack Unfolded

The horrific incident occurred on the national highway between Loralai and Musakhel, near the Sarha Dakai area. According to Loralai Division Commissioner Saadat Hussain, the terrorists stopped two buses en route to Punjab, checked the identity cards of the passengers, and selectively offloaded those belonging to Punjab before executing them at the scene.

The victims were ordinary citizens traveling home for various reasons, many for family commitments and daily wage work.

Victims Identified

The deceased hailed from different cities in Punjab, including:

  • Junaid from Lahore
  • Bilawal from Gujrat
  • Ghulam Saeed from Khanewal
  • Irfan from Dera Ghazi Khan
  • Asif Sultan from Chok Qureshi, DG Khan
  • Sabir Hussain from Kamoke, Gujranwala
  • Bilal from Attock
  • A resident of Dunyapur, Lodhran, who was traveling to attend his father’s funeral

This heart-wrenching incident has left multiple families devastated, with communities in mourning as they receive the remains of their loved ones.

Bodies Handed Over to Punjab

The Balochistan administration has handed over the bodies to Punjab authorities at the Bawata border. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Usman and Commandant Asad Chandia personally received the victims’ remains.

On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the bodies were immediately dispatched to their hometowns. Local officers were assigned to coordinate and ensure that families received the bodies with due respect.

A Grim Pattern of Targeted Killings

This is not the first time innocent Punjabis have been targeted in Balochistan. Earlier in March 2025, four labourers from Punjab were shot dead in the Mangochar area of Kalat district by unidentified armed assailants while drilling a tube well for a local landowner. The victims — Zeeshan, Khalid, Dilawar Hussain, and Muhammad Amin, all from Sadiqabad, Punjab — were ambushed at iftar time by gunmen on motorcycles.

Such repeated incidents have raised grave concerns about the security of migrant workers and travelers in the province, especially amid allegations of foreign-backed terror networks destabilizing the region.

Condemnation and Calls for Action

This latest massacre has sparked outrage across Pakistan, with demands for strict action against those responsible and their handlers. The involvement of Indian-backed terrorists has again highlighted the cross-border threats Pakistan faces in its restive southwest.

Security forces have intensified combing operations in the area to apprehend the perpetrators and prevent further attacks on innocent civilians.

The nation stands united with the families of the victims, mourning the lives lost and demanding accountability for those behind these heinous acts.
