Commissioner For Early Completion Of Development Projects

Multan, June 2: In an effort to alleviate the burden on the public, Commissioner of Multan Division, Engineer Amir Khattak, emphasized the need for the timely completion of ongoing development projects. Chairing a meeting to assess the progress of these projects, the Commissioner acknowledged that the provincial government had already allocated funds to facilitate the execution of these initiatives.

During the meeting, Engineer Amir Khattak urged the responsible officers to expedite the development projects, particularly emphasizing the construction of the Nadarabad flyover. He reiterated that quality and transparency should be upheld in all aspects of the projects, leaving no room for compromise.

Providing an update on the progress, Ghulam Nabi, Executive Engineer of Highways, informed the Commissioner that work on the Nadarabad flyover, with an allocated budget of Rs 3 billion, was being accelerated. He further stated that the process of acquiring the necessary land, funded with Rs one and a half billion, was in progress and slated to be completed by August 31. Nabi assured the Commissioner that the Nadarabad flyover project would be finalized by June 30, 2024.

Construction

The Commissioner’s directive comes as a response to the government’s commitment to improving the lives of the people of Multan. The timely completion of these development projects will not only enhance the infrastructure but also contribute to the overall progress of the region.

The Nadarabad flyover, once completed, is expected to alleviate traffic congestion, provide smooth connectivity, and enhance the transportation system in Multan.
