CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Announces Construction of Punjab’s First Government Cancer Hospital.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced on Monday that the Punjab government will establish the first cancer hospital in Lahore’s Valencia Town. During her visit to the proposed site, she was briefed about the healthcare facility and directed the invitation of specialized doctors from around the world.
Maryam also instructed the construction of a hotel for people attending cancer patients. The government hospital in Punjab will provide free treatment to cancer patients, equipped with highly qualified doctors and state-of-the-art machinery. Former senator Pervez Rasheed and other officials were present during the announcement.
