Clash Between Student Groups at FUUAST Karachi Leads to Injury of Two Professors

Karachi, Pakistan – Tensions escalated at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) yesterday when a confrontation between two student groups turned violent. The altercation resulted in the injury of two professors and subsequent intervention by local authorities.

Professor Rani Aram and Professor Haider Abbas sustained injuries during the confrontation. Prof. Abbas suffered head injuries, while Prof. Rani Aram injured her hand. Both professors were immediately rushed to Karachi Civil Hospital, where they received prompt medical attention.

Police Intervention and Student Detentions:

With the situation spiraling out of control, law enforcement authorities swiftly responded to the scene. Multiple police mobiles arrived at FUUAST to restore order and bring an end to the violence. The police took decisive action, apprehending over 22 students involved in the altercation. The detained individuals will face legal consequences for their involvement in the violent clash.

Temporary Closure of FUUAST:
