Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain leaves PTI
LAHORE: Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain has left Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and met with his elder brother, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the President of the PML-Q.
The PML-Q emphasized the need for unity rather than political divisions in the country.
Chaudhry Wajahat had joined the PTI along with Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and a few other associates.
Chaudhry Wajahat visited the Pakistan Muslim League House to meet Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
Chaudhry Shujaat welcomed his younger brother and emphasized the importance of unity in pulling Pakistan out of the economic crisis.
During a press conference, Chaudhry Wajahat announced his resignation from the PTI and hinted at the possibility of the entire family coming together in the future.
He acknowledged that the May 9 incident was condemned by the entire country and speculated that those responsible for creating divisions within the party might now be attempting to mend them.
Chaudhry Shafay Hussain urged the family to move forward together, emphasizing that ego can lead to cracks among people.
He mentioned that they were unaware of the cases against Parvez Elahi and Moonis Elahi until recently and stressed that all cases should be dealt with impartially.
Chaudhry Wajahat claimed to have had no contact with Moonis for a long time and urged Parvez Elahi to reconcile and unite the entire family.
Shafay hinted at a potential seat adjustment deal with the PML-N in the upcoming elections.
Regarding Imran Khan’s political future, he highlighted the spread of falsehoods and urged the youth to discern between lies and honesty.
