Australian travelers Lang and Bev Kidby had to abandon their 102-year-old car due to the extreme heat in Jacobabad, Sindh, known as the hottest city on earth. To continue their journey, Lang and Bev chose a 1922 model car. However, the intense heat in Jacobabad made them so exhausted and unwell that they had to stop.
Before reaching Jacobabad, they visited Quetta, enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery and landscapes of Balochistan. They entered Pakistan through the Taftan border on May 23. The couple has been traveling the world together in their 102-year-old car for 40 years.
They loaded their old, open car onto a truck and sent it to Lahore, planning to travel there in a regular car. From Lahore, Lang and Bev will head to India through the Wagah Border.
