Five More European Countries Announce Job Opportunities for Pakistanis

After Italy, five more European nations have agreed to offer employment opportunities to skilled workers from Pakistan following high-level talks on migration and labour mobility.

The development came during a key conference on illegal immigration held in Warsaw, where Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi led the Pakistani delegation.

The conference brought together interior ministers from Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Lithuania, who represented their respective governments in discussions focused on curbing illegal migration and strengthening cooperation.

During the meeting, participating countries appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to combat illegal immigration and human trafficking. The European ministers acknowledged the measures taken by Islamabad to dismantle trafficking networks and improve border management, paying tribute to Pakistan’s recent actions.

Officials indicated that alongside cooperation against irregular migration, discussions also explored avenues for legal migration pathways, including structured employment opportunities for Pakistani workers in various sectors facing labour shortages across Europe.

The announcement is being viewed as a significant diplomatic and economic development, potentially opening new doors for skilled and semi-skilled Pakistani workers seeking lawful employment abroad while strengthening Pakistan’s cooperation with European partners on migration management.
