People are strictly prohibited from entering the beaches, and activities such as fishing, sailing, swimming, and bathing in the seas have been temporarily banned. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has been closely monitoring the cyclonic storm and has issued timely warnings to the relevant authorities. According to the latest updates from the Met Office, the cyclone “Birparjoy” is currently located in the east-central Arabian Sea and is moving northeastward.:
As of the latest report, the cyclone’s position is Latitude 15.5°N and Longitude 66.3°E, approximately 1,040 kilometers south of Karachi, 1,020 kilometers south of Thatta, and 1,110 kilometers southeast of Ormara.
