Virat Kohli Denies High Earnings from Social Media, Calling Reports “Not True”

Former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has rejected claims that he earns a lot of money from his posts on Instagram. He said the reports were not true.

A company called Hopper HQ, which works in social media marketing, made a list of rich people on Instagram. They said Kohli is the third richest sports player on Instagram. They said he earns a huge $1,384,000 (around ₹11.45 crore) for each post he makes on the website where people share pictures and videos.

But the famous Indian cricketer said this is not accurate.

I’m thankful for everything I have in life, but the news that people are talking about regarding my earnings from social media is false,” he wrote on a website called X, which is a platform where people can share short posts. This website used to be called Twitter.

Kohli is one of four sportspeople on a list of 25 famous people from around the world. At the top of the list is Cristiano Ronaldo from Portugal. In second place is Lionel Messi, a football player from Argentina.

On this list, Kohli is ranked number 14 overall, but he is the third richest sports player. Another sportsman on the list is Neymar Jr., a football player from Brazil. He is the fourth richest on the list when it comes to earnings from social media.

So, despite what the reports say, Kohli has said that he doesn’t earn as much as people think from his Instagram posts. This shows that not everything we hear or read is always true. It’s important to find out the facts before believing something.
