Trump appears in newly released photos from Epstein estate
Newly released photographs obtained from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have once again drawn attention in the United States, with several images showing US President Donald Trump among numerous high-profile figures, as Congressional Democrats made public additional material on Friday.
According to House Oversight Committee Democrats, a total of 19 new photographs were released as part of a much larger collection of more than 95,000 images provided by Epstein’s estate. The disclosure comes ahead of a court-imposed deadline for the public release of Epstein-related material currently under review.
Among the newly disclosed photographs, President Trump appears in three images. One black-and-white photograph shows him smiling alongside several women, whose faces have been obscured. Another image depicts Trump standing next to Epstein, while a third shows him seated with a woman, his tie loosened. The exact dates and locations where the photographs were taken were not identified.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump sought to downplay the significance of the images, stating that Epstein was a prominent figure in Palm Beach and had been photographed with many well-known individuals over the years.
The Epstein case continues to remain politically sensitive in the US, particularly among Trump supporters, some of whom believe that key information about Epstein’s associates has been deliberately withheld.
Earlier this year, the US Justice Department said it found no evidence supporting claims of a secret client list or sufficient grounds to pursue criminal charges against third parties connected to Epstein.
President Trump has repeatedly said that he severed ties with Epstein well before the financier’s 2008 conviction and has denied any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities.
In addition to Trump, other prominent figures appearing in the released images include former US President Bill Clinton, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, former White House strategist Steve Bannon, and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers.
The release of the photographs has once again reignited debate in Washington over transparency, accountability, and the long-running controversy surrounding Epstein’s connections to powerful political and business figures.
