Teacher Throws Acid on Female Student for Rejecting ‘Friendship’ Proposal
In a disturbing incident near Karachi’s Nipa Chowrangi, a teacher named Iftikhar threw acid on his female student, Alisha, following a heated argument at an IT center. Alisha and her two uncles, Noman and Faizan, suffered burn injuries and were taken to the burns ward at Civil Hospital.
The police arrested the teacher, and a case was registered at Aziz Bhatti Police Station based on the complaint of the victim’s maternal uncle, Noman. The FIR stated that Alisha had gone to the IT center for her certificate, where the teacher and another person, Arshad, misbehaved with her. The incident occurred when her uncles accompanied her to the coaching center after she complained about the incident at home.
