The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced the successful completion of its Art Competition aimed at designing the country’s new banknote series.
In a recent statement, SBP expressed its gratitude to local artists and designers who participated in the competition, showcasing their creativity and talent for this significant project.
After a thorough evaluation process by a panel of experts from relevant fields, the selected designs have been chosen for prizes. These shortlisted designs are now being shared with international designers who will collaborate with SBP to finalize the new banknote designs.
While the international designers will draw inspiration from the local submissions, they will have the creative freedom to use their expertise and imagination to produce the final banknote designs.
SBP emphasized that the new banknote series will reflect Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and progressive vision, and the final designs will be a collaborative effort between local and international designers.
To appreciate the contributions of the participants, winners of the competition will receive prize money as previously announced. Details regarding the award ceremony will be shared soon.
