A local court on Saturday granted bail to AML leader Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in a case related to an attack on the office gate of a security agency building. The court directed Sheikh Rasheed to submit a surety bond of Rs200,000 from Adiala Jail.
Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Malik Ijaz Asif conducted a trial in-camera and granted bail to Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.
Although Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed lost in the NA-56 elections, PMLN’s Hanif Abbasi won the seat with a significant margin.
A video has emerged showing Sheikh Rasheed being released. In the video, he mentioned, “I have no idea what’s happening in the country.”
