RAWALPINDI: Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has reported that seven terrorists were killed, and three soldiers were martyred in multiple terrorist attacks on Security Forces in Lakki Marwat District.
The military’s media wing informed that the Security Forces successfully repelled three attacks by terrorists in the Lakki Marwat District on the night of 27/28 April 2023. A suicide bomber on a motorcycle blew himself up near the Security Forces post, and an intense exchange of fire occurred between the own troops and the terrorists.
In response, the troops engaged the terrorists effectively, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists. Additionally, three more terrorists, including a terrorist commander named Musa Khan, were killed in two separate encounters in the general area of Amir Kalam and Tajbi Khel.
The martyred soldiers are Naib Subedar Taj Mir, Havaldar Zakir Ahmed, and Sepoy Abid Hussain, who fought gallantly and embraced shahadat during an intense exchange of fire. The soldiers were from District Nowshera, District Abbottabad, and District DI Khan, respectively.
The security forces are carrying out sanitization operations in the area to eliminate any other terrorists. The sacrifice of these brave soldiers will further strengthen the resolve of Pakistan’s Security Forces to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
