Mumbai: Bollywood’s bhaijaan, Salman Khan’s assistant received an email warning from an associate gangster. The email was sent to inquire if he had seen the gangster’s interview where he expressed his desire to kill him.
Police filed an FIR against the gangster’s associate and email sender for the Salman Khan death threats after a complaint from Khan’s friend. The Bandra police filed an FIR against Lawrance Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and Rohit Garg.
The email prompted a security audit of Khan and police investigating the sender’s IP address and server. The threat is not related to a previous one in June 2022.
During a visit to Salman Khan’s Bandra office, Prashant Gunjalkar, the director of a talent management company, reported a threatening email found in Jordy Patel’s email to the police.
The email allegedly warned Goldy Brar, a member of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi’s crew, to speak with Khan. He warned Salman about Bishnoi’s wish to assassinate the actor during a prison interview. The email suggested resolving the situation through a face-to-face conversation.
Authorities are trying to locate Rohit Garg, the sender, by tracking the email’s server and IP address. The policeman confirmed the threatening interview, in which Bishnoi equated Khan with Sidhu Moose Wala.
Mumbai Police raised security at Salman Khan’s residence after receiving email threats. Bandra Police filed a case under IPC sections 506(2), 120(b), and 34
