LAHORE: The Punjab Schools Education Department on Saturday announced provision of internet access to all the schools.
The department held a meeting to discuss ways of modernising schools and improving educational facilities. As a result, it was decided that internet access would be made available to all schools in the province.
Moreover, the education department has also created a mobile application that will provide lectures on all subjects to students up to intermediate level. This move is expected to eliminate the need for private tuition and make education more accessible to students across the province. The application is expected to be a valuable resource for students, as it will provide them with easy access to high-quality educational materials.
The department also okayed the setup of ten mobile schools in the province. These mobile schools are designed to promote education in remote areas of the province where access to educational facilities is limited.
