Pakistan Squad Announced for ODI and T20 Series Against West Indies 2025

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the Pakistan squad for West Indies series 2025, confirming strong lineups for both the ODI and T20I formats. The national team is set to face the West Indies in a six-match tour consisting of three T20Is and three ODIs starting from July 31.

In the ODI squad, Mohammad Rizwan has been named captain, while Salman Ali Agha will serve as vice-captain. The matches will be held at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago on August 8, 10, and 12. Notably, right-handed batter Hasan Nawaz is the only uncapped player in the ODI team. Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Fakhar Zaman also return to the 50-over format lineup.

For the T20I series, scheduled for July 31, August 2, and August 3 at the Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, USA, Salman Ali Agha will lead the side. Fast bowlers Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Hasan Ali are also included in the T20 squad, adding strength to the pace attack.

The announcement comes shortly after Pakistan’s T20I series in Bangladesh, with the team scheduled to arrive in the USA on July 27 ahead of the T20 opener.
