Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s sons, Hasan and Hussain Nawaz, are set to return to Pakistan on March 12, according to the information provided by Nawaz Sharif’s counsel, Qazi Misbah, during a hearing at an accountability court.
The disclosure was made in the context of the Toshakhana reference, where Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, and Yousuf Raza Gillani are accused of violating rules related to keeping various vehicles.
Misbah informed the court that Hasan and Hussain Nawaz intend to appear before the court. Acknowledging that the sons were declared absconders in the Avenfield reference, the defense counsel mentioned that they had not appeared in other references as well. Appeals to suspend their arrest warrants were also filed, and the court issued notices to them for the next hearing.
