LAHORE: Multan Sultans on Wednesday defeated Lahore Qalandars to qualify for the final of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eighth at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bat first and posted 160 runs on the board. Chasing down the target, Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for just 76 runs in the 15th over.
Sultans’ Kieron Pollard scored 57 runs while captain Mohammad Rizwan made 33 runs. Haris Rauf picked up three wickets.
Sheldon Cottrell grabbed three wickets and played an important part in the victory of Multan Sultans.
