Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is set to launch the ‘Never Again’ application on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day. This initiative aims to eliminate violence against women. Following her election as the first female Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz emphasized the safety of women as her top priority during her maiden speech in the Punjab Assembly. She expressed her commitment to creating a safer Punjab for women, considering it her responsibility to provide a secure environment.
Maryam Nawaz highlighted zero tolerance for violence against women and stressed the PML-N’s belief in fully empowering women to contribute to the country’s development. Various measures, including nurse training, electric bikes, working women hostels, day care centers, women’s police stations, and women’s desks in all police stations, will be implemented to strengthen and facilitate women.
