The video captures Mahira gracefully moving in the pink saree, paying homage to Babi’s timeless charm. The tribute includes an interview clip where Mahira shares the inspiration behind her homage to Parveen Babi.
Recalling the first time she encountered Parveen Babi’s allure; Mahira mentioned a Time magazine cover featuring the Indian actress. “I remember seeing this Time magazine cover, and it had the gorgeous Parveen Babi on it. It’s because of that cover that I actually watched her films. Some of her songs I just love. She was so beautiful, such a style icon,” Mahira expressed in the interview. She also sang a few lines of Parveen’s popular song from the film Namak Halal – Jawani Janeman Haseen Dilruba.
