- The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting criticizes PTI Chief Imran Khan over his ten-point roadmap, saying that ‘he deserves ten slaps and not the points’.
Lahore: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday reacted to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan, saying that “Lahore rejected PTI and this man [Imran Khan].
The Federal Minister also responded to the ‘economic roadmap’ given by PTI Chairman Imran Khan during Minar-e-Pakistan power show.
“Das point nahi , is ko das chaparay parni chaye [Not these points, he deserves ten slaps,” said Marriyum Aurangzeb while addressing a press conference held in reaction to the PTI’s show at Minar-e-Paksitan.
She questioned Imran Khan’s economic roadmap, saying that he could not introduce even a single project for the welfare of the public.
Marriyum said that he delivered speech in the bullet-proof container and this is the same person who asked others not to be afraid of anything.
“This is the person who has used all the tactics including international conspiracy that started from the cipher and touched former army chief General Qamar Bajwa, Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif and then reached Mohsin Naqvi,”.
“Imran Khan doesn’t have political problems rather psychological,” said the minister, surprising that what types of people believed in his fake narratives.
Addressing Imran Khan, she said that “you don’t want elections but you want selection. You have done many dramas including attacking the police and the judicial complex. Many terrorists have been found in Zaman Park. Many other kind of excuses that I can’t appear before the courts due to security threats,”.
She also said that a man who wanted to set the whole jungle on the fire by holding a match in his hands could not lead the country.
Questioning Imran Khan’s roadmap to steer the country out economic and political crises, Marriyum said that “Whether you will improve the governance system by handing it over to Farha Gogi and Pinki Peerni. Why did you not improve it in KPK during your ten years tenure?,”.
“You changed the names of the Sehat Card Program, Jawan problem which were introduced by Nawaz Sharif,” she alleged, claiming that the PTI could not introduce even a single project.
She accused that he used private jets to send and get back the money despite that he was claiming to take action against “money laundering”.
“He was not responding to the cases including the amount of Rs190 million,” she stated.
Marriyum said that he talked about improving the economy during his jalsa at Minare-e-Pakistan but he had nothing instead of opening “langar Khanays” “eggs” and providing “Kattays” to the people
“Will you improve the economy through Anday, Kattay and Langar Khanay?,” she asked the PTI Chief. . She also drew comparison between the performance and projects introduced by PML-N leaders, saying that projects like CPEC, PKLI and motorways improved the economy.
