He explained that he had already greeted Chief Justice Bandial earlier, but a captured moment gave a false impression that he did not extend his greetings. He further clarified that his departure from the conversation was due to being introduced to some relatives of Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman, the newly appointed Chief Justice of the Shariat Court.
Justice Isa highlighted the negative consequences of spreading false narratives and emphasized the need to verify the authenticity of information before its dissemination. Referring to the Holy Qur’an, he quoted a translation that encourages the investigation of truthfulness to avoid causing harm due to ignorance. He shared his personal experience of being a victim of false stories in the past, emphasizing the pain it can inflict on individuals and their families.
