According to Sanjay Aggarwal, the Additional Director General of Police Intelligence, Singh had fallen into a honeytrap, sharing strategically important information through social media platforms.
Singh provided details such as photographs, locations, and videos of restricted army areas, along with information about units and officers. The alleged recipient, Anita, is suspected to be a Pakistani agent. The arrestee is now facing charges under the Official Secrets Act of 1923.
