Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz on Tuesday called Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman as the history’s biggest ‘fraudulent person’.
The PM said that he initially accused of the US of conspiracy against his government and later he took a U-turn.
“Now he has hired firm in the US,” said the PM, criticizing Imran Khan for holding the US as responsible for conspiracy against his government at one side, and hiring firms there for his lobbying on the other.
He was addressing the parliament on Tuesday.
“It is time to take action otherwise we will be left regretting,” said the PM, adding that they had decided whether they had to provide relief to the masses or to this ‘Ladla’.
The PM said that Imran Khan was summoned by the court again and again but he did not bother to appear before the courts.
Shehbaz Sharif said that he turned out to be arrogant before the judges. Recently, he said, Imran Khan was seen appearing before the courts along with the mob and they attacked the courts but despite all that he secured the bail.
Addressing the National Assembly speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf, the PM said, “did you ever see that the law enforcers were beaten and tortured and petrol bombs were used when they went somewhere to enforce the law,”.
“Nobody is taking notice of his acts. He is getting bail after bail in different cases at the same time,” he added.
Imran Niazi committed huge corruption in Thoshakhana but no action was taken against him. The foreign funding case is another big case in which he was held responsible and disqualified but ultimately no action was against him.
He asked the house to take notice of these facts as it was the right time.
