ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday shared pre-recorded video of its Chairman Imran Khan after Pakistan Rangers personnel arrested him from the premise of the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
“The moment my words will reach you I will be behind the bars in a fake case,” said Imran Khan in a pre-recorded video. He said that one thing was clear that there were no fundamental rights in Pakistan and it was a possibility that perhaps he could not find any other opportunity to talk to the people again.
Therefore, he said, he wanted to say something to the nation. The former prime minister said that he never violated the Constitution in his life and he wanted to do the politics under the law.
“What is happening today is being done just to pressurize me to make me accept this corrupt and imported government,” said Imran Khan.
He said that it was being done to bar him from running the movement for real freedom in the country. The PTI chief asked the people to take out to the streets for the real freedom.
“Freedom does not come so easily, so I ask you all people to come out for freedom,” said Khan, adding that it was the right time to raise the voice.
