Power Outages and Disruption in Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco):

The electricity system of Hesco, responsible for power distribution in lower parts of Sindh, was severely affected by the heavy rains. Millions of people experienced prolonged power outages as the supply was suspended from 53 feeders of Hesco. Additionally, a transmission line tower in the Mithi-to-Tando Jan Mohammad area was damaged, further exacerbating the power supply issues.

Tragic Incident in Kotri City:

In Kotri city, three children lost their lives, while seven other people sustained injuries.

The children were playing when a wall collapsed, leading to their unfortunate demise.

Fatalities Due to Lightning Strikes:

In the Tharparkar district, six individuals lost their lives due to lightning strikes. Among the victims were 16-year-old Vivek, 15-year-old Govind, 35-year-old Santosh, 30-year-old Lalu, 30-year-old Velu Kolhi, and 20-year-old Pulji Kolhi . Several others were injured in the lightning strikes, emphasizing the need for safety measures during thunderstorms.
