A man named Zakaria from Swabi made his wedding day extra special by arriving in a unique way. Instead of a regular vehicle, he rented a helicopter to lead his wedding baraat to a village near Peshawar.
Zakaria landed the helicopter at the house of his father-in-law, Rehman Shah, in Achini Bala, Peshawar. The police mentioned that he fulfilled this request because the bride-to-be wanted a helicopter entrance. Zakaria’s wife also joined him for the helicopter ride back.
The sight of a wedding baraat arriving in a helicopter was unusual and unique for the people in the bride’s village. Along with Zakaria, six other people accompanied him during this special journey, and it cost him Rs800,000 for the helicopter ride.
The entire helicopter journey took 40 minutes from Swabi to Achini Bala and another 40 minutes on the way back. In total, Zakaria’s travel and stay for the wedding amounted to three hours and 40 minutes.
