Government’s Promise of Maximum Relief for the People in Budget: Marriyum Aurangzaeb

  • Government Budget Promises to Provide the Most Relief to the People.

ISLAMABAD: Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, announced that the coalition government is determined to provide maximum relief to the people in the upcoming budget. This article explores the government’s plans to support various sectors, prioritize relief measures, and promote economic stability and growth.

Marriyum Aurangzeb emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing the needs of the people. The budget will allocate significant funds for programs benefiting farmers, the IT and export sectors, and the youth. One of the key goals is to pass on the benefits of reduced oil prices to the common people.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is actively engaging with stakeholders and various segments of society to ensure comprehensive consultations and effective implementation of relief measures. The government aims to strike a balance between economic stability and growth while prioritizing the welfare of the masses.

Marriyum Aurangzeb stressed that achieving economic stability is directly linked to political stability in the country. She expressed concern over the anti-state mindset fostered by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its Chief, which has contributed to political instability and adversely affected Pakistan’s economy. The government recognizes the urgency of countering these forces to safeguard national interests.

The government’s efforts to provide relief and promote economic growth require a stable political environment. By addressing the challenges posed by anti-state forces, the government aims to restore stability and create a favorable climate for sustainable development.

The Information Technology (IT) industry would receive “mega incentives” in the forthcoming fiscal budget, according to a direction by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to the relevant departments. The government recognizes the potential of the IT sector to drive economic growth and increase Pakistan’s IT exports.

These incentives aim to attract investment, foster innovation, and create employment opportunities within the IT industry. By focusing on the development of the IT sector, the government seeks to harness the power of technology to propel economic progress and enhance Pakistan’s global competitiveness.
