Faisal Vawda Claims PTI Is Behind “Dangerous Plan,” Vows to Reveal Details Soon

Senator Faisal Vawda has once again stirred political waters with his controversial statement claiming that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is orchestrating a dangerous internal plan, which he vows to expose in the coming days. In an exclusive statement , Vawda alleged that certain ideological members within PTI have betrayed the party and its founder, Imran Khan, suggesting a coordinated campaign aimed at destabilizing the country from within.

Vawda, who previously served as a federal minister, criticized the PTI’s top leadership for allegedly undermining state institutions and manipulating narratives to gain political mileage. He specifically mentioned Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, accusing him of leading efforts to malign national institutions for personal and political gain. The senator questioned the intent behind these actions, stating that PTI is attempting to craft a martyrdom narrative while covertly pushing an anti-state agenda.

He further questioned the discrepancy in the Senate seat allocation, raising doubts over why PTI managed to win only five seats instead of the projected eight. According to Vawda, this unusual outcome reflects internal maneuvering and manipulation within the party ranks. He also hinted at undisclosed controversies surrounding the nomination of Murad Saeed as senator, promising to unveil the full story soon upon his return to Pakistan.

Vawda’s explosive remarks came shortly after the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Faisalabad handed down a 10-year sentence to several key PTI leaders, including Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, and Zartaj Gul, in relation to the May 9 riots. The ATC verdict stemmed from cases registered at Ghulam Muhammadabad and Civil Lines police stations, convicting a total of 108 individuals and acquitting 77 others.

Among those convicted were notable figures such as Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, Sahibzada Hamid Raza of the Sunni Ittehad Council, and PTI MPA Junaid Afzal Sahi, who received a three-year sentence. Former PTI leaders Fawad Chaudhry, Zain Qureshi, and Khayal Kastro were among the few acquitted. Others facing lengthy prison terms included Rai Hassan Nawaz, Rai Murtaza Iqbal, Chaudhry Bilal Ijaz, and Kanwal Shauzab.

As the political temperature continues to rise, Vawda’s warning has added a new layer of intrigue to Pakistan’s already turbulent political climate. His statements raise serious questions about internal dynamics within PTI and the true nature of the party’s recent actions. With more revelations promised in the coming days, the situation remains fluid and politically charged.
