Ducky Bhai exposes NCCIA official after 100 days of silence in gambling apps case

YouTuber Saad Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, finally broke his silence after 100 days on Saturday, releasing an emotional video in which he apologised to the public while detailing the events leading up to his arrest in the alleged gambling-apps and money-laundering case. The development has reignited debate over the inquiry, especially as Ducky Bhai exposes NCCIA official after 100 days of silence in gambling apps case, prompting fresh scrutiny of the investigation.

In the video uploaded to his channel, Rehman began by apologising to the nation, saying he never intended to create content that could harm viewers. “If anyone thinks that this video is meant to justify the FIR against me, then I apologise. If my content has ever had a negative impact, I seek forgiveness from the entire nation,” he said, adding that his purpose had always been to entertain and not promote harmful activities. He emphasised that if any of his uploads knowingly or unknowingly contributed to negativity, he deeply regretted it.

Rehman stressed that he would contest the case strictly through legal means and fully cooperate with the courts, saying he was prepared to accept whatever decision the judge ultimately delivers. The YouTuber also recounted the moments leading to his arrest, explaining that he had been preparing to travel on 16 August after hosting a dinner at his home. “I woke up happy that morning because we had an international event ahead. I had no idea what was about to happen — that was the beginning of my difficult days,” he said.

The following day, on 17 August, he was arrested at Lahore airport on allegations of money laundering linked to gambling applications. His arrest triggered widespread controversy online, with many demanding clarity from authorities and questioning the role of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Rehman had remained silent on the matter for over three months, with Saturday’s video marking his first detailed statement since the arrest.

The Lahore High Court granted him bail on 26 November against surety bonds worth Rs1 million, allowing him temporary relief while investigations continue. The resurfacing of the case, especially after Ducky Bhai exposes the NCCIA official following 100 days of silence, has once again placed the spotlight on regulatory oversight, the handling of cybercrime inquiries, and the complexities of digital financial crimes in Pakistan.

Social media users have reacted strongly to the video, with many expressing support while others demand a transparent probe to determine whether the charges were justified or politically motivated. As the legal battle continues, the case remains one of the most closely followed controversies involving a Pakistani digital creator.
